The Chaukhtatgyi Temple in Myanmar’s capital city Yangon has one of the biggest and most graceful Reclining Buddha statues in South East Asia. The statue’s placid face, with glass eyes, is topped by a crown encrusted with diamonds and other precious stones. It is regarded as one of the top places to see while in Yangon.
